Gianluigi Buffon believes that Gonzalo Higuain will be a massive success for Juventus, having followed in the footsteps of his compatriot Carlos Tevez, and making the move to Turin. The Argentina international has left Napoli during the summer for a fee that amounts to around €90 million. He is the most expensive player in the history of Italian football.

Gianluigi Buffon said that he did not believe that Higuain would sign for them in the beginning, and thought that it was just a rumor, but that when it came true he was very happy. Buffon said that Higuain was always difficult to play against when he was at Napoli and that they always had to be careful with him. He believes that he will be a wonderful addition to the team and that he will help the team reach a higher level.Continue reading

Juventus
Back in September, there were doubts about manager Massimiliano Allegri staying in the job. Juventus appeared to be fighting against relegation. Now, though, it is a different story and the team will be going into 2016 on a positive frame of mind. The team has won the last five matches and are only two points away from leaders Napoli.Continue reading

Mino Raiola, the agent of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has said that the player is almost certain to leave the Serie A giants in the summer with a whole host of European super powers chasing the signature of the 21 year starlet.

The French international joined the Italian giants in 2012 after growing frsutrated with his fringe role under Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United and has since gone on to become one of the best combative midfielders in the world and would easily command a fee of more than £ 50 million which could force the hand of the cash strapped Italian club to sell him.Continue reading

Currently Juventus sit atop the table in Serie A, looking to win their fourth consecutive domestic title. Through ten league matches, Juve are in their familiar position in first place with 25 points, three clear of second-place Roma. Carlos Tevez revived his career after making a stunning debut season in the Italian club Juventus as he finished the previous campaign by reaching the top spots of the goal-scoring charts in Serie A but it still wasn’t enough for the Argentinean attacker to be included in Alejandro Sabella’s plans for the 2014 World Cup.

The former Manchester United player has faced disciplinary problems in the past including his refusal to warm up and play in a match for Manchester City during a Champions League match after having been asked to warm up and then not playing during a previous encounter.

However even with all of the incidents surrounding Carlos Tevez, it is believed that the primary reason on why he was not selected to represent Argentina in the 2014 World Cup is simply because of the fact that Tevez not does not have a healthy relationship with neither Lionel Messi or the coach Alejandro Sabella and in order to avoid problems in the squad at the international stage, he was not chosen at all.

Tevez responded to Alejandro Sabella’s decision of not selecting him by revealing to the public that he has no plans of watching Argentina playing in their respective matches and the star of Juventus is going to spend his time with his family.

“I’m not watching anything, I don’t know how Argentina is doing, and I’ve not heard from the group, I don’t know anything about anything. I’m with my family; I’m playing golf, getting some sun. I’m isolated because I’m a footballer and it hurts. I’m not watching what’s happening, or what’s going on around the team, nor anything to do with the World Cup.”  Tevez revealed to the media after being asked about what he is planning to do before the next season kicks off in August.

Since being promoted to the first team of Real Madrid, Alvaro Morata has managed to score a total of 10 league goals and made over 30 league appearances which do not seem like a huge amount of goals but the Spanish youngster has attracted the attention of Arsenal and Juventus as they want to sign the Real Madrid player.

Morata has struggled trying to secure a place in the starting XI of not only Carlo Ancelotti but the previous managers as well with Benzema, C.Ronaldo, Di Maria, Gareth Bale and other players being preferred in the main lineup of the team.

Antonio Conte guided Juventus to a historic that saw the Italian club setting a new record for the highest point’s total of 102 during their Serie A campaign. The Italian manager wants to improve the squad even further as he has to prepare the team for the upcoming season in which they will be playing in the Champions League and he revealed that Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata is a summer target.

“Morata is a great player and has a big future ahead of him. I can say with certainty that he has the potential to become a world-class attacker. However, he is a Real Madrid player at this point.” Conte announced to the media during a press conference.

Arsene Wenger has been attempting to sign Morata from the Spanish club since January but has failed on doing and now will face the competition of Juventus as they are looking to strengthen their squad before the start of the next season where they will battle against Europe’s best in the Champions League.

Carlos Tevez spent a combined total of 6 years playing in Manchester United and their rivals Manchester City but he was constantly being overshadowed by other players and he eventually decided to continue his career by transferring to Juventus where the Argentine forward has turned himself into one of the top goal-scorers for the club.

Under the guidance of Antonio Conte, Juventus is only a few points away from being crowned as the champions of Serie A and just about the entire squad has been performing superbly well but there are a few standout players which are the main driving force behind Juventus and those are: Andrea Pirlo, Gianluigi Buffon, Arturo Vidal and Carlos Tevez.

The consistent performances from Carlos Tevez have attracted the attention of the president of Boca, Angelici as he wants to bring back the Argentine player into the club.

Tevez started his career playing with Boca Juniors as he scored over 70 goals for the club and now they want Tevez to make his return at some point in time.

Angelici told Fox Sports Radio Del Plata: “We always cross paths, Tevez calls me often and we talk. He wants to end his career at Boca. I am convinced he will join Boca when his contract with Juventus ends, he will end his career at Boca’’.

“He gave me his word he will return, but he won’t be our next signing as he is still under contract with Juventus.”

The 30 years old former Manchester City player has a contract with Juventus that expires in 2016 and according to the president of Boca, Angelici that will be the time that Tevez joins his childhood club where he is going to finish the rest few years of his career.

With goals against Ac.Milan and Torino, Carlos Tevez is actively becoming an asset for Antonio Conte’s Juventus and their charge for the league title. The recent performances that the Argentine attacker of Juventus has made for the club have given him a huge confidence boost after the club had signed on a loan deal Daniel Osvaldo and Fernando Llorente was close on surpassing the Argentine’s goal tally for the current season.

In some instances it appeared as if the place of Carlos Tevez into the starting lineup Antonio Conte was under threat but the tides are now turning in favor of the former Manchester City and United player who was even awarded with the man of the match award during their match against Ac.Milan.

During Juventus Europa League match against Trabzonspor, Pablo Osvaldo helped the Italian club on advancing through the next stages of the European competition as he scored the opening goal which arrived after linking up with Tevez. When the match concluded, Osvaldo went on praising his new Argentine teammate.

“Tevez makes it so easy to play alongside him. He’s a phenomenon and any player would find it simpler playing with him. Honestly I feel very comfortable here, with both Tevez and the rest of the team. I’m happy, right away I adapted pretty well here. I plan to work hard to go to the World Cup, I will give my all. It doesn’t just depend on me but I hope I can do it.” Osvaldo admitted.

After going through some tough times with Manchester United and City, it seems as if he has finally found someplace where fans have grown to love him and that’s with Juventus.
