Boca Juniors striker Carlos Tevez has revealed the difference between former teammates Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo during his recent interview with the Argentine press. Tevez had the opportunity to share the same dressing room with Ronaldo during his time at Manchester United whilst he has featured alongside Messi on a number of occasions when he has represented the national side.

Meanwhile, when asked on Ronaldo, Tevez said the Portuguese could be regarded as the complete opposite as he was often found in the gym in the aftermath of training sessions, he added: “Cristiano always stopped in the gym after training: for him it is an obsession and, being the best in everything, he always arrived at work early. When the training was set for 9 in the morning I arrived at 8 and he was already there. Even if I arrived at 7.30 he was already there.”
Both Ronaldo and Messi were rivals in the Spanish La Liga for the past nine years but that has changes this season with the former making the move to Juventus. Nonetheless, the pair could face each other once more in the Champions League where the Bianconeri are planning to go all the way with the competition’s leading goal-getter in their ranks. Ronaldo had failed to score in his first three Serie A games for Juventus but he managed to put things right against Sassuolo last weekend where he scored a match-winning brace.
