Carlos Tevez made his move to Juventus on June of 2013 and now he has become one of Jose Mourinho’s top transfer targets for the summer when the current campaign ends. The inconsistency of Fernando Torres and Samuel Eto’o have forced Jose Mourinho on looking for some other attacking players in the transfer market that can help them in their charge of the Premier League for the upcoming season.
Chelsea managed to sign Mohamed Salah from Basel in January but they are still in need of someone else who can push them forward in all of their journeys of securing trophies and the Argentinean Carlos Tevez is on the priority list of Mourinho.
Other targets of Jose Mourinho include Diego Costa and Radamel Falcao. Considering the fact that Antonio Conte has Fernando Llorente, Pablo Osvaldo, Mirko Vucinic and Fabio Quagliarella all has his disposal at Juventus, the departure of Tevez will allow him to free up space in the squad as well as creating funds for the upcoming transfer window.
Tevez spent 2 seasons playing at Manchester United where his performances were being overshadowed by other players and he eventually had to leave the club and joined Manchester City where he became a star and was even named as Manchester City Player’s Player of the Year in 2009.
Despite his outstanding performances with Manchester City, Tevez has not been selected to play and represent Argentina since Alejandro Sabella was appointed as the head coach of the national team back in 2011 and he spoke about his current situation.
“The World Cup? I do not want to always talk about the national team. I’m playing well here, I am happy at Juventus, this is important, then it is down to the Coach Sabella to decide.” Tevez stated.
