Juventus has earned Carlos Tevez a national recall

A wonderful 2014-15 Season for Juventus has earned Carlos Tevez a national recall as he has been named in the Argentina squad for the upcoming Copa America Football tournament.

Tevez had been out of the national team fold for the last four years for various reasons.

Of course, form was the primary reason. The striker was not playing the kind of Football that’s needed for a player to draw the attention of his national manager.

But, going to Juventus really proved to be a turnaround for the veteran as he showed some consistency there, played with the same, old spark and forced people to start talking about him again.

However, he is not going to stay at Juventus anymore. The reports suggest he has put across a transfer request to the management and he might be making his way to some other country pretty soon with Spain being tipped as the likely one.

Atletico Madrid is believed to have held a round of talk with Juventus on Tevez. The information is not authentic though.

However, Diego Simeone, the Atletico boss, hailed Tevez in one of his recent interviews terming him ‘incredibly passionate’.

In the words of Simeone, “Tevez is someone who breathes the game. It’s running in his veins. His passion is just incredible.”

As far as Tevez’s national comeback is concerned, it would have happened to be a little tough if Alejandro Sabella was still at the helm for Argentina.

But, Gerardo Martino, since the very first day of his tenure, had said that he would not mind slotting Tevez in if he has a solid run in club Football.

Now that he is back, Tevez would like to give a strong answer to those who had written him off regarding his international career.
