Marcus Rashford believes Argentine ace is the most complete Premier League striker

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has named Sergio Aguero as the most complete striker in the Premier League despite him playing for arch-rivals Manchester City. The Argentina international has enjoyed another successful season in the English top-flight and he is currently leading the race for the Golden Boot with 18 goals in the bag.

Speaking to GQ Magazine, Rashford said that Aguero is probably the complete marksman in the Premier League, given he can find the scoresheet even on an off day. He added that Harry Kane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are other big-name players, who could make the top three of the league in terms of centre-forward qualities.

He said: “I think, probably the most all-round centre forward, is Sergio Agüero. Even on an off day, he can score you three or four goals. That, for me, is one trait of a centre forward that I would take all day long. When you’re not having a good game, but you’re still scoring goals. That is a skill on its own. Also Harry Kane, his positioning, his movement – very clever player. I like Aubameyang as well.”

Aguero has been one of the most consistent Premier League marksmen over the past eight years where he has become the Citizens’ all-time leading scorer. In the current season alone, he has netted 28 goals across all competitions and this has included three hat-tricks in the top-flight – two of which have come against Chelsea and Arsenal.

On the contrary, Rashford has not enjoyed a similarly top season but he has nonetheless chipped in with nine goals and six assists in the Premier League for United, who are vying to make the top four. The Red Devils are currently two points behind the Champions League places but they are still regarded as the front-runners to push for the third and fourth positions.
