MESSI HAS TWO DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES – TEVEZ

The great Lionel Messi has two different football personalities according to former national team colleague Carlos Tevez. Lionel Messi and Carlos Tevez played together for the Argentine senior national team for several years.

Carlos Tevez talked about Paris Saint Germain (PSG) superstar Messi during an exclusive interview with media outlet Seleccion de Noticias. The former West Ham United and Manchester City attacker said Messi has one personality when he’s at PSG and another one when he’s with the Argentine national team.

Messi spent all his professional football career at Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona before he moved to PSG as a free agent last summer after the Catalans could not accommodate his expensive salary on their wage bill.

Tevez is certain that Messi is ‘half as happy with French giants PSG as he is with the Argentine national team. In his first season at PSG, Messi has only managed 11 goals in all competitions including five goals in the UEFA Champions League (UCL). He has just six league goals in the French top flight this season. Seven-time Ballon d’or recipient Messi scored 38 goals in all competitions during his last season at Barcelona, which is 27 more than what he has managed in his debut season at PSG till date. His tally this season is the lowest for Messi since the 2005/06 season. He can add to the tally when PSG play hosts to Metz in their final league game of the season this weekend. PSG take on Metz at home on Saturday night with the aim of ending the season with a win. They can make it two league wins on the bounce with victory at the expense of Metz who are third bottom on the league table. Metz might need a result against PSG to finishthird from bottom which guarantees a place in the relegation playoffs.
