TEVEZ NOT TOO DISAPPOINTED

The Manchester City striker, Carlos Tevez, has said that he is not disappointed about his exclusion from the Argentina national team for the World Cup qualifying matches against Paraguay and Peru, according to Man City FC news. The manager of the Argentinean team, Alejandro Sabella, has decided not to include Tevez in the national squad despite his brilliant form for City in the first few matches of the season.

As per Tevez, in the past, he used to play for the clubs only to impress the manager of the national team and to get a chance to play football at the international level. But, his mentality has changed in the last 1 year. Now, he is more committed to his club and getting a place in the national team is not his primary objective any more.

Tevez also said that everything is all right between him and the City manager, Roberto Mancini, at the moment. Tevez had a dispute with Mancini in the last season due to which he was suspended from the team for a long duration. But, Tevez apologized publicly later on and thereafter, he got back in the team again. As per Tevez, he has learnt a lot from that incident. Those days of suspension were not easy for him. He got frustrated at times, but, it’s wonderful that the City authorities have given him another chance. He would not let the club down again in the future.

Tevez’s performance has been outstanding in this season so far. He is playing high quality football. Roberto Mancini has also praised Tevez for his brilliant form. As per Mancini, it seems that Carlos worked very hard on his game when he was out of the team. He is looking a more capable player. He has become the favourite of the City fans. Hopefully, he would give the fans more reasons to celebrate in the upcoming days.
