Carlos Tevez has recorded his second win as a manager after he masterminded the1-0 victory over Newell’s Old Boys in the league. With the success over Newell’s Old Boys, Carlos Tevez has now won two of his fivegames as manager of Rosario Central.

Ex-Manchester City and Manchester United attacker Carlos Tevez started his managerial reign at Rosario Central with the 1-0 home loss to Gimnastic. As a matter of fact, the retired Argentine international lost his first two games as Rosario Central manager. The defeat at home to Gimnastic was followed by the defeat at the hands of hosts Aldosivi. Tevez and his Rosario Central players were on the receiving end of a 2-1 loss to home team Aldosivi.

Tevez didn’t get his first managerial win until his third game in charge of Rosario Central. The former Argentine attacker won his first game as Rosario Central manager during the 1-0 win at home to Sarmiento in the league. It must be pointed out that Sarmiento ended the game with ten men.

Carlos Tevez was unable to build on the win over Sarmiento in the league with another win after the game with hosts Independiente ended in a goalless draw. The Independiente game was in the league as well and it was played on penultimate Saturday. Rosario Central are back to winning ways after the stalemate with Independiente courtesy the aforementioned 1-0 win over Newell’s Old Boys in the league. After the win over Newell’s Old Boys, Carlos Tevez and his players are now unbeaten in their last three games in the league. The three-game unbeaten run is coming on the back of a two-game losing run at the start of his tenure as Rosario Central manager. The Newell’s Old Boys game was played on Thursday. Their next game is against Arsenal Sarandi on Wednesday.
