TEVEZ SET FOR MOVE TO CORINTHIANS

Carlos Tevez has had a strikingly interesting career, one which has seen him play in the forward position for various clubs from 2001 to date.

Carlos, who started his career with the Boca Juniors in 2001 before moving to Corinthians in 2005, is currently playing for Boca Junior after moving back from Juventus in 2015. The striker however, is set to return to Corinthians after a short spell with the Boca Juniors.

His move is amidst reports that former club, Juventus wish to get him back to their fold. Indications have it that the striker has no intention of going back to Juve but wishes to sign on to a Brazilian club. Tevez has also had stints with top clubs like West Ham United, Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus, before returning Boca Juniors.

News reports from Football Italia suggests that Carlos Tevez would go on to sign for former club, Corinthians despite indications from his agent that Juventus wanted the striker back. His agent, Kia Joorabchian while speaking to reporters recently in Argentina had this to say,

“Obviously we can only say Carlos is a Corinthians player after the signatures,” Kia Joorabchian told reporters.
“We’re talking about a done deal though, the transfer is done it’s just missing the signature on the contract. There were offers from Juventus, Atletico Madrid and two English clubs but Carlos prefers to go back to Brazil.”
The 32-year old player only managed to appear 23 times in his second spell with the Boca Juniors, and ended with just 9 goals. With his current move to Corinthians, it is most likely that he would retire there.

On the international level, the forward has been left out by head coach Edgardo Bauza with a few people such as Maradona clamoring for his recall.
