The Manchester city striker Carlos Tevez has said that he is relishing the prospect of returning to West Ham United after a long time. The Argentine striker spent a brief time at Upton Park and helped them stay up in the Premier league. His presence at the club was the source of a major controversy, as it meant that Sheffield United were relegated. Carlos Tevez then moved to Manchester United where he had a hugely successful career before coming to Manchester city FC a few seasons ago. The Argentine striker has said that returning to West Ham is always special feeling.
Meanwhile the Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko has said that he is very much looking forward to winning the second league title with Manchester city this season. After winning the league title last season, Manchester city will be hoping to continue the same this season as well. The team may not be at their best in the opening few weeks of the campaign, but Edin Dzeko has already been extremely influential even though he has come on only as a substitute. Carlos Tevez scored in the recent 1-0 win over Swansea during the weekend. Edin Dzeko, meanwhile, confirmed his commitment to the club.
“I have very good memories [of West Ham] because it was my first club in Europe. I’m very happy to be returning to the club that [you] could say was my birthplace [in English football]. After playing very badly at Ajax we had to wake up, play better and win, which was the most important thing,” said the Argentine striker. “It’s my obsession to win the title again with City. Roberto Mancini is the boss and I accept his orders. He’s always talking to us and is satisfied with my work,” said Edin Dzeko about his obsession for the next title.
